The workshop will run on 1st, 8th and 15th of August, from 7 to 9pm in The Lab Gallery (Dublin 1). Here is what you can expect from this series:

Unlike a traditional process of staging a play by rehearsing a chosen text, this workshop starts from the group’s inspiration. This can be a piece of text, a poem, a feeling, a reaction, an experience, an interaction, a dream, a memory or any other bit of information on which the group draws to create a performance. This series offers an opportunity to learn more about the collective creation process and begin building and rehearsing a devised performance.

People who speak other languages in addition to English are highly encouraged to join, as we will play a little bit with language and cultural matters.

The workshop block costs 30 euros in total for Firedoor members, or 40 euros for non-members. If you’re interested but can’t attend one of the 3 sessions, don´t worry – you can still sign up.
