Next production: God of Carnage

What can possibly happen when two apparently civilised middle-age couples meet to iron out the discrepancies between their sons?

This hilarious and highly successful play by French author Yasmina Reza has been chosen as our big production of 2021!

As you might know, we had to postpone our November production due to the Covid-19 restrictions, so April 2021 will see us back on the stage to bring you the best theatre. It will be performed on the week of April the 12th in the main space of the Smock Alley Theatre -wow!

Auditions will take place in January, date TBC yet. Watch out our Members Facebook Group next year for the call for auditions!

Meet our director, Sarah Thunder

We have the very talented Sarah Thunder on board as the director of our big production of 2021, “God of Carnage”.

Sarah Thunder

Sarah brings extensive experience in acting and directing. She trained as an actor at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London, and did a Masters in Theatre and Performance in Trinity College Dublin. She acted and directed in several professional plays and, most recently, she founded Multiverse Theatre Company.

Actually, Sarah is not a new face: she worked with Firedoor before when she directed “Paint”, an original play by Firedoor member Stephen Ryan, which was performed in Doyle’s pub in February 2018.

We welcome Sarah to this very exciting new project!
